Hi all,
Posting yet another of my poem, completed sometime back..Honestly this poem was written by me when i had a small fight with my lovely sister.. .never knew the aftermath could be so eye-opening in form of good words..
would request you all to freely drop in your valuable comments, criticisms..
here it goes
TRAPPED
Trapped lies the little lonesome heart
Inside the cold crusty bosom, waiting to be released
And fly to heaven, fly to
Shores beautiful; break free from
The veins of sickening solitude,
Strengthening their claw like hold onto it.
Trapped lie the thoughts at the back of the mind.
Thoughts clear, sincere, purer.
And trapped lies the spirit, the soul
Or whatever-else-the-life-source-is-called
Inside the curves of the warm body.
Trapped are the fountains of tears
Inside these eyes like the desert.
And trapped seems somewhere the holy wine
Inside the twin chalices of my breasts.
Trapped lies the elusive smile behind
The visible curve of the dry lips.
And trapped lie the magical wondrous words
In my mouth; in the tongue.
Trapped lies the balmy warmth inside my hands.
Trapped lies the will to pace on
To dance, to flow, inside my feet.
O now! Set the trap free and
Let the untrapped- magic of love flow.
